Run Windows-based Programs on a Mac


11.Download PKHeX from here and open it 12.When done making/editing/cloning your pokemon, click on the 'File' tab on PKHeX, click on 'Export SAV', click on 'Export main', overwrite the file that comes up (It should be called 'main'), close PKHeX(You dont have to), remove your SD card from your PC and put it in your 3DS.

  1. Mac OS X Software 10.4 or Later, Mac OS X Lion is preffered (Mac OS X 10.7) X11; Wine/WineBottler; Pokesav or PokeGen; Step 1: First of all, check and make sure your Mac has an Intel Processor. You can do this by clicking on the Apple Symbol on the very top left of your screen. Then, click on “About This Mac”. Look at the Processor.
  2. Try googling Pkhex for Windows/Mac. Use that program to edit your save. Use Checkpoint or JKSV on your switch to aquire your saves. You can transfer your saves via SFTP or just transfer the files using your SD card.
  3. Run PKHeX.exe Press “Yes” when prompted to create a backup folder. For Mac: Extract the 7-zip file Run PKHeX. How do I set up PKHeX? Extract the 7-zip file. App if you chose Illegal Mode) For Windows and Linux with Mono: Extract the PKHeX zip file somewhere on your computer.

Double-click your .exe or .msi and convert it into an app with WineBottler. You can run the generated app like every other program on your Mac. Porting to OS X never was easier ;).

To generate the one or more QR Codes

  1. Drag and Drop any number of ekx/ek6/pkx/pk6 files onto anywhere on this window; Mobile users can select a file
  2. Grab your 3DS to do the rest

Use PKHeX to create these files, Grab it for PC or MAC.


To Inject the Pokemon

You will need a 2DS/3DS/3DSXL running firmware 9.0-9.5 and a copy of X/Y/OR/AS
(Note: 'New 3DS' and 'New 3DSXL' are incompatible with this exploit)

  1. Make sure you have an empty slot in the first space of your first box
  2. Press the 3DS Home button to access the overlay
  3. Press L and R together to open the camera
  4. Switch to QR Reading mode
  5. Scan a QR code from this page
  6. Allow the page to open
  7. Wait for Browser to stop working
  8. Press the 3DS Home button to return to the game

Note: If for some reason that did not work, go back to the browser, enter settings and clear browsing history and cookies and repeat the process.

WARNING: SAVING POKEMON WITH OR/AS EXCLUSIVE ITEMS/FORMS IN X/Y WILL CAUSE YOUR SAVE FILE TO CORRUPT
